The explicit mission of The Center of Rational Spirituality (CRS) is to facilitate the natural development of consciousness in each and every individual through rational spiritual thought and practice, regardless of philosophical, religious, cultural, racial, political, or social identities. We recognize that the source of limitless human potential and wisdom exists naturally at the basis of everyone. All CRS programs and activities will be conducted in a manner consistent with these premises.
The purpose of CRS is to help individuals and today’s society awaken to their inherent psychological health and spirituality. This is done by integrating ancient spiritual wisdom with modern rational thought. Historically, this innate psychological health and spirituality has been obscured due to economic, cultural, intellectual, and other social barriers. All CRS activities are designed to facilitate the dissemination of this knowledge. The impetus for forming CRS was to create accessible and affordable venues for appropriately delivering this knowledge to people in modern society.
The CRS initiative evolved from the material offered in books, seminars, and lectures by Michael Mamas. The goal of CRS is to benefit individuals and general society by creating accessible venues for delivering aspects of this knowledge to people who would find it difficult or impossible to engage in the existing seminars, retreats, lectures and/or other offerings by Michael Mamas.
