Michael Mamas is the founder and Chief Executive Officer. He is also founder and director of the School for the Evolution of Humanity and the Surya Program which offer classes on both coasts. These programs enliven one’s depth, free a person from conditioning, and facilitate the natural blossoming of one’s true nature.
Awarded the title of Adhyatm Vidhya Visharad (Spritual Master) from Bhagavan Yagnyavalkya Ved Tatavagyan Yogashram, the Sanskrit College at the University of Gujarat, Michael is the only person who is not a Brahmin, priest, or pundit to ever receive the award, and the only person from the West. He did his undergraduate work in honors physics and mathematics at Ohio State University where he also earned his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. His interest in business management also led him to acquire an MBA.
Michael's lifelong search for wisdom led him to seek out and study under great thinkers of the United States, India, Europe, China and the Philippines. The wisdom and knowledge he gained compelled him to dedicate his life to helping people evolve by facilitating the natural development of their consciousness. He established CRS to help people awaken to their inherent spirituality and health by providing free and low-cost resources. On behalf of CRS, he lectures, gives interviews, and writes articles.
Michael is building an ideal community, Mount Soma, to help evolve the individual, the community, and the world. Located outside of Asheville, North Carolina, it is the home of The Learning Center, built and maintained by CRS, which hosts daily meditation, meditation retreats, and lectures. |
