Clifton Liu
Clifton Liu received a BA in Physics at Cornell University and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin in 1988. Clif spent three years at Motorola working as an electrical engineer specializing in computer architecture. His pursuit of deep understanding led him back to science. In 1996, he received a PhD in Physics from the University of California, San Diego. He then moved to Silicon Valley where he could explore his passion for technology. He worked at Apple, Inc. for three years as a technical writer. He then joined PalmSource, Inc. where he worked as a technical writer, lead developer for Palm OS Garnet, and the manager of the Palm OS licensee support group. He now works for Afer as the Senior Software Engineer and Manager.
Outside of work he spends his time meditating and learning how to play guitar and studying the subtleties of investment strategies.
Clif lives and works in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife, Tracy.
