Interesting thoughts. Having once contemplated going down that path I realized that the celibacy required could easily become a problem, I look back at my decision as a wise one.
Mmm…food for thought. This made me aware that I may still be carrying karmic notions from many lives within the church, as a hermit and ascetic.
I have seen many nuns leave the church too, because they had to pick one path or the other. I think it’s interesting the church would rather consider having a married male priest than consider having a celibate (or any!) female priest.
