Evenings at Mount Soma are so beautiful… not just visually, but more importantly the feeling. After meditation the other evening I went to the Temple. People are moving about, chatting, tending to this or that, laughing and going for walks. After visiting with a few other people, Panditji came outside to chat with me a bit. The weather was gorgeous and cool after the setting of the warm, summer sun.
After a while, I went down to the Student Union to visit with some of the people down there. It was all heartwarming and fun. The next afternoon I visited with Dave at the Community Center. The feeling there, too, is wonderful.
Mount Soma is enchanted.
What a gift!
The community is very special. The front porch feeling comes alive up here as people gather in small groups, in work, play or relaxation, to watch the sun rise or set, or the leaves change color. The best part about enchantment at Mount Soma is that this is real.
It is a very sweet community feeling here. I’ve been enjoying it too.
Lovely. I can feel it wherever I am.

My favorite time of the day at Mount Soma is in the evening when the shadows of the western mountains slowly moving up on the eastern ridges. Naturally it gravitates me towards that fine place within.
Just few days ago, a bus load of visitors from Alabama, traveled 7-1/2 hours straight to visit the temple. After spending 3 hours, they boarded the bus for another 7-1/2 hours straight back to their town. As the night falling, I stood on top of the temple steps, waiving good-bye, I felt SO fortunate that I live here, I’m not the one leaving on the bus!
